I threw this dessert together tonight and it was FABULOUS!
Safeway is now selling strawberry angel food cake for $3.99. It comes in a plastic bundt shaped tin, and is in their fresh fruit section by the strawberries. While you are there, pick up a tub of strawberries, whipped cream and Hershey's chocolate syrup.
Slice the strawberries, put in a bowl and sprinkle with sugar to sweeten them up. Slice the angel food cake, put a helping of strawberries at the base, drizzle with Hershey's syrup and add a little whipped cream. Quick, easy and inexpensive as well!
